How much difference can winter tyres make to your car’s performance and safety? So it’s understandable that most of us are reluctant to fork out for winter tyres.
When most of us think of Gale Banks, we think of diesel engines, big honkin' trucks and tuning boxes that make pickups perform like slingshot dragsters. What you might not know is that Banks and the U.S. military have been working together since the 1970s.
Professional wheelman Tanner Foust is teaming up with Cobb Tuning to create the Tanner Foust Edition Ford Focus ST. The car will go on sale later this year. Loosely based on the concept unveiled at the SEMA show in November, the car will be upgraded with a custom ECU calibration -- by Cobb, of course -- and an intercooler, intake, exhaust and suspension components.
